A yearlong journey to support the deepening of all participants’ astrological crafts, coming to you March 2022 - March 2023.
This is an advanced program for alumni of the Evolutionary Astrology Intensive as well as the previous run of METEORITE.
We will materialize a new evolution of ourselves as astrologers, honing our skills, cultivating unique voice, and creating a body of work.
This group is about developing quality astrology and building intimacy with the practice in a group of other committed journeyers. Because Evolutionary Astrology is such a soulful practice, we will bring a lot of enchantment and imagination into this space, in addition to building our interpretive acumen.
This group is here for the cultivation of unique, embodied astrologers. There are two main ways we will accomplish this: rooting down and branching out. Rooting down, we will continue anchoring into the depth of the Evolutionary Astrology material by working with new curriculum, new techniques (not limited to evolutionary astrology), as well as by discussing group members’ charts together and keeping our own introspective processes alive relative to our birth chart, transits, and psyches/souls. Branching out, participants will also embark on a culminating project as part of building and generating their own astrological body of work.
We will explore astrology as a study as well as a way of life. We are going to go all in, devoting ourselves to the practice of astrology and the EMBODIMENT of being in lucid relationship with the cosmos, and being able to communicate our interpretations.

- Yearlong intimate container, including live recorded calls and group discussion outside of class
- Observing world transits in community
- Practice creating delineations
- Composite and synastry
- Counseling skills
- Intimacy with the archetypes
- Cultivating voice and methodology as an astrologer
- Group discussion about members' natal charts, transits, and experiences
- Integrating Evolutionary Astrology with other forms of astrology and/or other disciplines
- Exploring the transpersonal planets (Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto) through applied spiritual practices
- Initiation through Independent study - by three months into the program students will come up with an independent study/creative project that ends in the production of a work of some kind (a booklet, an astrological text, a presentation). Everyone will present their creations at the end.

This group is an experimental adventure! Like a meteorite making it from outer space to the surface of the Earth, a purpose of this group is to become receptive to downloads and novel insights and to embody them. This is a high level practitioner group for people wanting to strengthen their astrology practice both for their own enrichment and for their participation in the world. By being in community and the unique field that opens up in this group, we’ll spark and accelerate our creativity.

The Fixed Sign Mysteries
The fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius) each contain initiatory keys. As a major theme of this 2022-2023 METEORITE, we’ll be engaging the mysteries of the fixed signs.
In Taurus we develop our receptivity and we cultivate our relationship to the body, to resources, to wealth, to self-esteem. We often speak of Taurus as though it is just the physical (it is an earth sign after all). But is the body not as mysterious as though a microcosm of the cosmos itself? And receptivity is a spiritual opening. Money is currency; currency is energy. How we relate with resources is as mundane as it is profoundly psychological and spiritual.
In Leo we contact not just creativity but Creator consciousness - the capacity to manifest. The work of scholar Robert Bellah even suggests that the mammalian behavior of play (like lion cubs wrestling each other) is an important evolutionary step that leads to ‘serious play’ i.e. ritual and religion. Early humans began to notice that dance, music, drumming - affected the weather, or the hunt. So began our earliest participatory acts with reality creation. Play is still a vortex.
In Scorpio we encounter or deepest fascinations and obsessions, our emotional addictions as well as our most profound capacity to focus and practice alchemy. Working with Scorpio is to become more deeply aware of power dynamics and our own relationship with agency, where we give it up and where we can reclaim it. Scorpio teaches us about the depth of our relatedness, our relationship with Eros, and how we can emotionally transform and evolve.
In Aquarius we meet the bird’s eye view, system perspective - the Akashic perspective - the realm of genius, channeling, insight, radical possibility. Aquarius is about paradigms and ecosystems - systems of thought, systems of community. Like visiting any given website or tuning into any given podcast will result in an experience, tuning into a paradigm will result in an experience. Becoming more aware of our capacity to tune into and out of channels opens up freedom.
We are already living out the fixed signs (regardless of how they compose our natal charts). In community and in this program, however, we will tune into more ways to experiment and play with the fixed signs’ arenas of life (and how they intersect and influence one another).
Soulmaking with Transits
We will learn about the basic methodology of how to observe, track, and participate with world/collective and personal transits, as well as secondary progressions. There will be a focus on personal development, and personal and spiritual growth and soulmaking through the transits, as opposed to anything concretely predictive or fatalistic. Participants will have a practice of tracking their transits (assisted by a personalized ephemeris from Honeycomb.Co) and transit correlations.
Asteroids & New Archetypes
In the previous Meteorite we communed with asteroid goddesses Vesta, Pallas Athena, Ceres and Juno & the centaur bridge Chiron. We will pick up from here with new archetypes such as Eros (Cupid) and Diana/Artemis (the latter thanks to research from Verena Borell in the last Meteorite!).
Astrology of Relationship
In addition to learning about composite and synastry astrology, we will explore techniques like Essential Needs (utilizes the 2nd, 7th, and 12th houses and the positions of those house rulers to reflect upon an individual’s essential, projected, and ultimate needs in partnership). We will reflect on the earthly and transpersonal octaves of relationship through astrology (practical chemistry and spiritual purpose that comes through relationship).
4th/10th Axis and IC/Midheaven
Personal and professional development are connected, as represented by the axis of the 4th and 10th houses, and the IC and Midheaven. Students do not have to be seeking to be professional astrologers, but that is supported in this space (whether students are developing their craft, or students are moving their craft outward to a public practice). Developing a professional practice, who we are in the world, how we present ourselves and represent our brand and offerings — is connected to our internal, emotional development, and how we relate to our own initiations and openings. Our work here on ‘astrological embodiment’ enriches what we have to offer in our practices. We will also be developing our approach to our work and public life (10th house) pragmatically, in a way that is in fluid, regenerative relationship with our innermost truth and being.
Spiritual Development & Jupiter-Neptune in Pisces
This course begins in the midst of a spiritualizing transit (Jupiter-Neptune conjunct in Pisces). The group field we create of astrologers sharing magical stories and witnessing the correlations together is also expansive.
Astrology puts is in touch with synchronicity and profound experiences of “as above so below”. As a craft, astrology opens our relationship to the Universe, which is by nature spiritual. There are spiritual valences to all of the archetypes, as well as archetypes that are more directly concerned with the spiritual dimension. We will be in conversation about how we relate to the ‘beyond’, to what is magical, enchanting, or beyond-the-ordinary. Alongside sharpening our astrological skills, we’ll connect with our spiritual discernment and our range of opening to visualization, imagination, and perhaps even miracle (the definition of miracle from A Course in Miracles is the transformation of fear into love).
Pattern and Story Recognition & Rewriting
We’ll practice utilizing astrology as an ally to shifting negative stories/beliefs/patterns in our lives, as well as utilizing pattern-breaking techniques as a way to elevate our astrological practice. It is said in varying shamanic and spiritual traditions that everything in this life is about relationship. Our relationship to ourselves, to the planets and their archetypes, and to the events in our life are of crucial importance and influence in how we will experience our natal charts and transits. We’ll work with story and mindset as ways to be in more psychologically skillful in our relationship to astrology.
